Tracker ID & Panel Integration Guide

Connect Your Panel Providers to Qualz.ai

Qualz.ai seamlessly integrates with any external recruitment panel or participant source through our Tracker ID system. Whether you use UserInterviews, Respondent.io, Prolific, your own customer database, or any other recruitment source, you can track participants and automate completion workflows.

What is Tracker ID?

The Tracker ID is a unique identifier that links a participant's response in Qualz.ai back to your external recruitment source. This enables:

• Participant Attribution: Know exactly which recruitment source each response came from
• Incentive Tracking: Automatically notify your panel provider when participants complete studies
• Data Export: Include tracker IDs in your CSV exports for easy reconciliation

How It Works

Step 1: Pass the Tracker ID in Your Study URL

When sharing your Qualz.ai study link with participants, append the iid parameter with the participant's unique identifier from your recruitment source:

https://chat.qualz.ai/?study_id=YOUR_STUDY_ID&study_type=qualitative_study&iid=PARTICIPANT_ID

Or if using a short link:

https://chat.qualz.ai/s/YOUR_SHORT_CODE?iid=PARTICIPANT_ID

Key Points:

• The parameter name is iid (interview identifier)
• The value can be any string your recruitment source uses to identify participants
• Most panel providers automatically append this parameter to your study URL

Step 2: Configure the Redirect URL (Optional)

If you want participants to be redirected back to your panel provider after completing the study (for incentive tracking), configure a Redirect URL in your study settings:

1. Log in to the Qualz.ai Dashboard
2. Navigate to your study and click Edit
3. Find the Redirect URL field in study settings
4. Enter your panel provider's completion URL with the TRACKINGID placeholder:

https://yourpanel.com/complete?participant_id=TRACKINGID

Qualz.ai will automatically replace TRACKINGID with the participant's actual tracker ID when redirecting.

Step 3: Export Data with Tracker IDs

When you export your study data to CSV, the Tracker ID column will contain each participant's identifier, allowing you to match responses back to your recruitment records.

The CSV export includes:

• Participant ID (Qualz.ai internal ID)
• Tracker ID (your external identifier)
• All response data
